Somewhere Clover the Rainbow

Note that the Moshling that you get for completing the last mission is O’Really. You don’t get a code for him, just the option to add him to your Zoo. (You can also use a flower combination to get him. Find out more…)

To start the mission, click the button in the top right hand corner of your room, just under the BFF tab.

You’ll get a screen showing the different parts of the mission. Click on the button with the part you wish to play. (If the mission is grey and not coloured in then it’s no available yet – it’ll have the date the mission become available written on it.)

Also, you should also notice that Part 4 to Part 7 have a little “M” badge on them. This means that they are only available to Moshi Members. Sorry.

Somewhere Clover the Rainbow – Part 1 – Radical Red

The mission starts in a lush green outcrop surrounded by beautiful scenery. Standing on the grass is O’Really and behind him is the faded outline of a rainbow.

Somewhere Clover The Rainbow

“Super Moshi I need your help!” says O’Really and a conversation starts.

“I’ve lost all me colors in me rainbow!” he explains.

“Now I can’t find me Pot o’Rox! Fine me items full of color to get me rainbow back. Do that and the Pot o’Rox be yours!” he tells you.

“The first item is Radical Red. Go to Cloud City and talk to Nimbus.”

It doesn’t seem as if we have much choice in the matter! With that we’re off to the Clouds to talk to Numbus.

Once you’re in the clouds, you’ll need to scroll to the left. You’ll see Nimbus floating outside a Kite Shop.

Click on Nimbus to start a conversation.

“Hi Nimbus! Long time no see.” you say.

“Super Moshi! What brings you all the way up here?” Nimbus asks.

“O’Really lost all the colours from his rainbow.” you explain.

“Oh no! How awful!”

“I know, right. He needs colorful items to fill his rainbow. I came up here because he said you had a Radical Red item he could use.”

“Hmm… Well I did have a lobster phone…” Nimbus says. “But I lost it somewhere up here.”

(Isn’t that always the way!)

“Sorry, Super Moshi.”

Looks like we’re going to have to find this Lobster phone. Luckily it’s not that hard to find it.!

We find ourselves back in Cloud city. Have a good look around and you should be able to find the Phone tucked behind one of the buildings.

It’s behind the green and yellow Kite Shop.

Click on the Lobster phone to put it into your inventory.

“Oh you found it! Great!” says Nimbus. “I’ll take you back to O’Really!”

We’re back on the grassy outcrop with O’Really.

“Oh! Thank me lucky stars!” he says. “Could ye hand o’er the Radical Red item?”

Open your inventory and drop the Radical Red Lobster Phone onto O’Really to give the item to him.

“Now, I need ye help putting that color back in me rainbow” he says.

Collect the Raindrops mini-game.

The idea here is to move your pot left and right and catch the raindrops falling from the cloud.

You need to keep an eye on Nimbus the cloud as you do, as he’ll get darker and angrier until it a flash of lighting will strike down. Try to avoid this!

You’ve also got a time limit – you’ve got to fill your pot before it gets dark. You’ll see the sun rising in the background as time progresses.

For Part 1, you only need to fill the first pot – the Radical Red.

Once your pot is full red will shoot out of the top of the pot into the sky.

Once done you return to the grassy outcrop. You’ll see that the rainbow now has one of it’s colours back!

“Shooting shamrocks!” says O’Really. “It’s BEAUTIFUL” He’ll make his own little rainbow with his walking stick and do a little dance.

THis is the end of part 1. You’ll be given 100 XP, 50 Rox and a code for a Radical Lobster Phone (LOBSTER).

Somewhere Clover the Rainbow – Part 2

Part 2 starts on the same grassy outcrop and O’Really seems pleased to see us!

“Super Moshi, you’re back!” he says as a conversation starts.

“Find me colorful items to get me rainbow back to find me Pot O’Rox.” he tells you.

“The second item is orange. My dear friend Cutiepie is in the Candy Cane Caves. Cutiepie has an orange item that just came in with the latest cupcake shipment.”

With that, we’re off to the Candy Cane Caves.

As soon as you get there, it’s obvious that Cutie Pie is a bit flustered by something.

“Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!” says Cutiepie.

“What’s wrong Cutiepie?” you ask.

“Super Moshi! Perfect Timing!” says Cutiepie.

“All the cupcakes got mixed up! I only need the cupcakes with the yellow frosting AND a purple base.”

So, now we have to search the caves for five cupcakes that match the description that Cutiepie gave us. Yellow on the top and purple on the bottom.

If you hover over a cupcake it’ll allow you to pick it up with a click and put it into your inventory.

You’ll find the five cupcakes you need in the following locations:

  • In the little green box like elevator to the far left hand side of the screen.
  • In front of a round yellow window to the right of the fellow with a hosepipe.
  • In the entrance to Cupcake Cavern all the way over to the right hand side of the caves.
  • Under the little brown bridge, floating in the red river.
  • And the last one, which is a little trickier to spot, is above and to the left of the Cupcake Cavern entrance, hanging from a red and white striped candy-cane.

“Drop the yellow and purple cupcakes on me!” says Cutiepie.

Scroll back over so you can see Cutiepie and open your inventory. Now drag each one of the yellow and purple cupcakes and and onto the little fellow.

Cutiepie will tell you how many cupcakes he still needs everytime you give him one.

Once you give Cutiepie the last cupcake he’ll say “Sweet! I owe you big time, Super Moshi!”

“No problem!” you reply.

“But I actually came here because O’Really said you had an orange item in this shipment.”

“Oh, of course! here, have this ‘Orrible Orange Crab Cupcake!”

Now that we have the cupcake we’re off again, back to the grassy ledge.

“Oh thank me lucky stars!” says O’Really. “Could ye hand o’er the orange item?”

Open up your inventory and drag the orange cupcake onto O’Really to give it to him.

“Now, I need ye help putting that color back in me rainbow.”

Collect the Raindrops mini-game.

We’re playing the Collect the Raindrops mini-game again. This time, you’ll spot a difference.

Nimnus is now dropping raindrops of two different colours. We have to fill up two pots of colour, the red and the orange.

Once a pot is full, you’ll get a little tick next to it and you’ll need to try to catch the colour you need. This takes a little longer than it did the first time.

You can see that it’s going to get harder and harder as we get more and more colours in our rainbow.

Once you get both the colour pots full, there will be a spurt of orange paint!

We’re back on the ledge again, and now the rainbow behind O’Really has two colours.

“Shooting shamrocks!” says O’Really. “It’s BEAUTIFUL!”

He’ll do his little dance and paint a rainbow with his stick!

With that, the part is over and we’re awarded 100XP, 50 Rox and a code for an ‘Orrible Orange Crab Cupcake (Secret Code: CRABBY).

Somewhere Clover the Rainbow – Part 3

Part 3 starts with another cheery greeting from O’Really:

“Super Moshi, you’re back!”

“Find me colorful items to get me rainbow back to find me Pot O’ Rox. The Third item is yellow. “Me heard Big Bad Bill is brewin’ somethin’ in the Haunted House. He’ll have me yellow item for sure.”

And with the quick introduction done and dusted we’re off to the Haunted House.

In the Haunted House we find Big Bad Bill standing next o a cauldron of apples.

“Holy Hoodoos” says Bill as he starts a conversation.

“Super Moshi, what are you doing down here?”

“Hi Big Bad Bill!” you reply.

“O’Really said you had a Yellow item that’d be perfect for his rainbow.”

“I certainly hoo-doo!” replies Bill. Sounds like we’re in luck.

“But I dropped it in my barrel of apples by mistake.” he continues. Wouldn’t you know it!

“You’ll have to fish it out!”

So we’ve got ourselves another mini-game to win.

Big Bad Bill’s Bob-O-Rama

In this game we have to use iggy to collect red apples. Once we’ve got enough red apples, the Yellow Oobla-doobla will appear and we can grab that too.

However, there are Glumps floating around in the water too. If Iggy eats one it’ll make him sick – but it’s not the end of the world. There are also green apples floating about. If Iggy eats one of these it’ll make him feel better.

The game ends when you get the Yellow Oobla-Doobla.

“You caught it!” says Bill excitedly. “Tell O’Really good luck!”

Now we return to O’Really on his grassy outcrop.

“Oh thank me lucky stars!” he says. “Could ye hand o’er the yellow item?”

Open your inventory and drag the yellow Oobla-Dooble over to O’Really.

“Now I need ye help putting that color back in me rainbow.” he says.

Collect the Raindrops mini-game.

Time for another game of Collect the Raindrops. This time we’ve got three pots to fill so it’s starting to take longer and avoiding that flash of lightening is a little harder. Don’t worry though, I’m sure you can get past this!

“Shooting Shamrocks” says O’Really. “It’s BEAUTIFUL!” and with that he’ll way his stick to paint a rainbow.

You’ll get yourself 100 XP, 50 Rox and a code for a Yucky Yellow Oobla-Doobla (Secret Code: OOBLA).

Somewhere Clover the Rainbow – Part 4

Ah, that now familiar greeting from O’Really!

“Super Moshi, you’re back!”

“Find me colorful items to get me rainbow back to find me Pot O’ Rox. The forth item is green. The great Pocito is down at the fun fair testing his strength. He’ll have me green item for sure.”

And we’re off to the fun fair! Standing outside of the Cirque Du Bonbon is Pocito.

“Pocito!” you say and a conversation starts.

“Super Moshi! You’ve come back for another challenge!” says Pocito.

“Well , actually I came back for a green item.” you explain.

“O’Really said you’ll have a green item for his rainbow.”

“Yes! I have it for you here!” says Pocito. “But only if you beat my new score at the strength game!”

Test your strength mini-game.

If you’ve done the earlier Super Moshi missions you will have come across this mini game in the Season 2 mission “Big Top Bally-Hoo”.

It’s pretty simple, all your need to do is keep clicking on the mouse button until the strength gauge on the “Wack-o-meter” fills up. Then your hammer will hit the pad and you’ll win the game with a “You Smashed It!” message.

NOOO! Not again!” says Pocito. “You’re too strong Super Moshi! Here, take this. These Gooey Green Beanstalk Beans keep me strong.

Click on the beans to pick them up and place them in your inventory.

“Tell O’Really I hope he gets his rainbow back!

And we’re back on the grassy outcrop again.

“O thank me lucky stars!” says O’Really. “Could ye hand o’er the green item?” he asks.

Open the inventory and drag the beans onto O’Really.

“Now I need ye help putting that color back in me rainbow.”

Collect the raindrops mini-game

Yep, we’re playing the same game again and as usual we’ve got another bucket to fill with colour.

It’s going to start getting harder now. If you get hit by lightning it’s going to stop you collecting drops for a few seconds. Get hit too many times and you’re going to run out of time.

Don’t worry though, as you can re-play the game as many times as it takes for you to win!

“Shooting Shamrocks!” says O’Really as the green colour appears in the rainbow.

“It’s BEAUTIFUL!” and as usual he pains a mini-rainbow with his stick.

And that’s part 4 completed. You’ll get yourself 100 XP, 50 Rox and a code for Gooey Green Beanstalk Beans (Secret code: BEANS).

Somewhere Clover the Rainbow – Part 5

“Super Moshi, you’re back!”

Yep, we are! Don’t know why O’Really is so surprised by it!

“Find me colorful items to get me rainbow back to find me Pot O’ Rox. The fifth item is blue. The Hatekeeper is down at the Fiery Castle hating on everything! He’ll have me blue item for sure.”

(It’s almost as if O’Really is reading from some kind of script!)

So we find ourselves outside the fiery castle with the cross looking Hatekeeper.

Click on the Hatekeeper to start a conversation.

“What are you doing here Super Moshi?!” asks the Hatekeeper.

“I hear you have the blue item O’Really needs to finish his rainbow?!” you say.

“I hate rainbows and happiness! Why should I help you?” he asks.

“Um…Because I hate the Gate Keeper!” you say.

“Who doesn’t? Hahaha…”

Ok, if you can beat my game I will give you the blue item!

HateKeeper’s pairs game

“Match up O’Really’s pairs.. if you can!” say the Hate Keeper.

Just click on the cards to turn over each pair. If they match they’ll stay turned over.

The cards are laid out like:

Horse Shoe Clover Horse Shoe Crock
Crock Hat Hat Clover

Once you’ve got them all turned over the Hate Keeper says “Okay fine here is the Bodacious Blue Dragon Floaty!”

An inflatable blue dragon appears. Click on the dragon to pick it up and return to O’Really.

And we’re back on the grassy outcrop again.

“O thank me lucky stars!” says O’Really. “Could ye hand o’er the blue item?” he asks.

Open the inventory and drag the blue floaty onto O’Really.

“Now I need ye help putting that color back in me rainbow.”

Collect the raindrops mini-game

Now it’s getting trickier! Another pot of colour to fill up, but by now you should know what to do! Keep dodging those bolts of lightning – otherwise you’ll run out of time!

“Shooting Shamrocks!” says O’Really as the blue colour appears in the rainbow.

“It’s BEAUTIFUL!” and as usual he pains a mini-rainbow with his stick.

And that’s part 5 completed. You’ll get yourself 100 XP, 50 Rox and a code for a Bodacious Blue Dragon Floaty (Secret code: DRAGON).

Somewhere Clover the Rainbow – Part 6

“Super Moshi, you’re back!”

“Find me colorful items to get me rainbow back to find me Pot O’ Rox. The sixth item is indigo. This item can only be found at the Sandy Drain Hotel. Look for Simon Growl at reception.”

And we’re instantly transported to The Sandy Drain Hotel reception and who should be standing there but none other than Simon Growl!

“You again? You know the Sandy Drain is only for celebs!” says Simon Growl.

And with that a conversation starts.

“I’m helping O’Really fix his rainbow.” you explain.

“He said you would know about an *indigo colored item.”

“Phh… Well, I do have this ugly indigo lamp in my room. If you can answer all of these questions, I might let you have it…”

“What is the name of the best selling Moshi Monsters album?”

Select “Music Rox!” as the answer.

“Correct. I guess.”

“Finish this song lyric. “You know I’ve always got moshlings on my…”

Select “Mind” as the answer.

“Correct. I guess.”

“What color is Baby Rox’s hair?!”

Select “Pink” as the answer.

“That’s 3 out of 3… Not bad.

“There’s that icky Indigo Oobla-Oil Lamp!”

The lamp has appeared on the red carpet.

Click on the lamp to pick it up.

“Good luck with that rainbow nonsense.” says Simon Growl.

You know the drill by now. You won’t have to do this mini-game too many more times. Just keep dodging that lightning, and if you don’t do it just keep trying!

“Shooting Shamrocks!” says O’Really as the indigo colour appears in the rainbow.

“It’s BEAUTIFUL!” and as usual he pains a mini-rainbow with his stick.

And that’s part 6 completed. You’ll get yourself 100 XP, 50 Rox and a code for a Icky Indigo Oobla-Oil Lamp! (Secret code: LAMPY).

Somewhere Clover the Rainbow – Part 7

“Super Moshi, you’re back!”

Yes, We’re back for the last time in this mission!

“Find me colorful items to get me rainbow back to find me Pot O’ Rox. The seventh and final item is violet. Me heard Sprockett and Hubbs are doin’ some interestin’ research in the underground lab They will definately know somethin’ about me violet item.”

Looks like we’re off to Sprockett and Hubbs’ underground lab.

“Super Moshi, what’re you doing down here?”

And a conversation starts.

“I heard you two are doing some research with a violet colored item.”

“Yeah! We’re trying to transform the giant Rox violet!”

“Sprockett, you babbling bot! You gave away our research!”

“Don’t get your bolts in a twist!”

“It’s not like it works anyway…”

“If you can rewire the smasher, you can have the violet item.”

Circuit Smasher mini-game.

Ok, so what do we have to do here. Well, it’s quite simple – just click on the pieces to rotate them so that you connect the pipe from the top left hand corner to the bottom right.

So:

  • click the top left piece one to switch it to horizontal
  • Click the second piece along on the top row three times to connect it to the piece below.
  • click the second piece along on the third row down once.
  • click the third piece along on the third row down to switch it to a horizontal pipe
  • click on the fourth piece along on the third row down to connect it to the horizontal pipe and the piece below.
  • click on the bottom right hand corner piece once to connect the pipe to the exit.

We’re now back in the lab!

“Electric!”

“It’s working!”

And with that the strange canon shoots our a wave and changed the Rox into an violet item.

“Please take it! You’ve helped us so much!”

Click on the ting to pick it up.

And we’re back on the grassy outcrop again.

“O thank me lucky stars!” says O’Really. “Could ye hand o’er the violet item?” he asks.

Open the inventory and drag the vivid viole Banano Stick onto O’Really.

“Now I need ye help putting that color back in me rainbow.”

Collect the raindrops mini-game

It’s the last time we play this game now and it’s as hard as it gets. You’ve got to fill all seven pots before it gets dark. It took us a few tried to do!

“Shooting Shamrocks!” says O’Really as the violet colour appears in the rainbow.

“It’s FINISHED! Now I can find me Pot O’ Rox!”

And then O’Really flies off over the rainbow and lands in a larch pot of Rox.

And that’s part 7 completed. You’ll get yourself 100 XP, 500 Rox and a code for a Vivid Violet Banano Stick! (Secret code: BANANO).

You’ll also get two moshlings to add to your zoo, O’Really and Suey.
